The Stage 2 Management System features durable 80mm In-Ground (IG) bait stations that are quick and easy to install. Each station is pre-loaded with premium kiln-dried Radiata Pine and Tasmanian Oak (DUO Timber) interceptors, providing an ideal environment for termite monitoring and baiting.

To enhance performance, the system includes cellulose sand sleeves that help prevent debris from entering the stations while acting as an additional termite attractant. Every ready-to-install kit contains 16 bait stations, along with essential accessories such as in-concrete pot covers, augers, replacement timber, and extractors.

At the core of the system is the Exterminex™ termite bait, formulated with a highly refined alpha-cellulose matrix, fortified with powerful feeding stimulants and attractants. How the Exterminex Termite Baiting System Works

The Exterminex system uses two complementary components:

In-Ground Termite Baiting System

In-ground stations are installed around a structure, typically every three metres. These stations act as both:

• Monitoring points to detect termite activity early
• Delivery points for bait once termites are intercepted

When termites are detected feeding on the timber interceptors, Exterminex termite bait is added to the station containing the active ingredient. Foraging termites consume the bait and transport it back to the colony.

Above-Ground Termite Baiting System

Above-ground stations are installed with termite bait packs to areas where termites are visible inside a structure, such as:

• Mud trails on walls or ceilings
• Timber frames or furniture
• Trees or landscaping near the building

The bait is placed directly onto an Above Ground Station over active termite workings, allowing immediate feeding. Once the colony is eliminated, above-ground stations are removed and the in-ground system remains in place as an early-warning and long-term protection system.
